Hung Thinh coCporation donated 5 billion vnd to support the Covid-19 prevention and control work

In the morning of March 17, 2020, at the ceremony of mobilizing the whole population to support the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control work at the office of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, representatives of Hung Thinh Group donated 5 BILLION VND to contribute to response to, mitigation of damages from epidemic on the community. This funding was partly contributed by employees in just one day and gained nearly 2.8 billion VND, the rest was deducted from the Corporation’s budget. This is a practical action not only showing the spirit of determination to fight against the epidemic, but also showing a responsibility of the Board of Directors as well as all the employees of the Corporation to the community - society.

Previously, on March 12, 2020, Hung Thinh Corporation was also one of the first units to coordinate with the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association and other enterprises to raise 5 billion VND to support production costs for 10,000 Covid-19 virus detection kit.

In addition, Hung Thinh Corporation was also a pioneer in implementing the program on reduction of rental price for shopping center space in projects invested by the Corporation and its member units. Accordingly, the reduction will be applied in 3 months (February to the end of April) for all tenants from 20% - 80%. In particular, the Corporation also gave 100% free rent for units operating in the field of education. With this action, Hung Thinh Corporation hopes to contribute to helping all partners firmly stabilize their business activities in the difficult period due to the effects of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - Prerident of Hung Thinh Corporation shared: “Enterprises can only develop sustainably when a sustainably developed society exists. Despite being in a difficult period due to the widespread Covid-19 epidemic, all employees of the Corporation are still very unanimous in their determination to fight against the epidemic together. We hope there will be more enterprises working together to ensure funding for the control, prevent the spread of epidemic and the situation will soon be recovered so that everyone can return to normal life”.

It is known that right from the first news of the first Covid-19 case in Vietnam, Hung Thinh Corporation soon monitored and studied the application of health protection measures for its employees. The Corporation asked its employees to strictly follow instructions to prevent any case of infection in the working environment.
Hung Thinh Corporation also applies measures to change the form of working at the office to work online for some units and departments. For units that cannot work online, the Corporation also applies the highest level of control and prevention measures. The body Temperature Meter and antiseptic solution are equipped right at the main gate of the office as well as at the workplace of each unit and department. All customers and staff are required to check body temperature, wear a mask, wash their hands with antiseptic solution before entering the offices. Public areas such as elevators, meeting rooms, corridors, toilets, etc. are continuously disinfected.
In addition, the Corporation also provided a system of file disinfection machines with modern technology and disinfects the entire office every week, combining training on knowledge of the Covid-19 prevention and control to help employees take the initiative in protecting themselves and their families. The Corporation also applies the policy of allowing 30 minutes late for each working day to encourage employees to prepare lunch to bring to office for better safety, health.
