Hung Thinh - HCMC team conquers VTF Pro Tour 4 - Hung Thinh cup 2018

As a part of the tournaments held by Vietnam Tennis Federation, the 4th Men's and Women's Tennis Championship 2018 took place extremely excitingly and intensely. Hung Thinh - HCMC team eventually conquered the tournament when winning 3 out of 4 championships of the VTF Pro Tour this year. The tournament, sponsored by Hung Thinh Corp, took place at Phu Tho Tennis Club from Sept 24th to Oct 1st, 2018.

There are 95 players from 10 delegations: Hung Thinh – HCMC, People's Police, Military, Hanoi, Hai Duong, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Hai Dang Tay Ninh, Becamex Binh Duong and Kien Giang. VTF Pro Tour 4 - Hung Thinh Cup 2018 attracted several top professional tennis players in Vietnam including: Hoang Thanh Trung, "King of the Doubles" Le Quoc Khanh, former No. 2 of Vietnam Bui Tri Nguyen... In the Women’s, there were several popular Vietnamese female tennis players such as Tiffany Linh Nguyen, Nguyen Tu Kim Ngan, Nguyen Phan Yen Tich or Fodor Csilla and especially the French-Vietnamese "hybrid roses" Alize Lim in the Hung Thinh - HCMC team. Alize Lim is currently completing procedures for naturalization in Vietnam.

The tournament also included friendly matches between former leaders and current leaders of the Vietnam Tennis Federation and HCMC Tennis Federation. The nice shots of those players such as Mr. Doan Quoc Cuong - General Secretary of Vietnam Tennis Federation, Head of Tennis; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky - Chairman of Vietnam Tennis Federation; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung – Chairman of Board of Directors, CEO of Hung Thinh Corp, Chairman of HCMC Tennis Federation; Mr. Nguyen Quang Thong - Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Nien Newspaper, former Chairman of HCMC Tennis Federation aroused the audience’s interest. The friendly matches are not only to show tennis love and passion but also to connect entrepreneurs and leaders together. In this competition, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - Chairman of Board of Directors, CEO of Hung Thinh Corp and Mr. Doan Quoc Cuong -  General Secretary of Vietnam Tennis Federation  won the championship eventually.

VTF Pro Tour 4 - Hung Thinh Cup 2018 is a part of the project "Renovation of the competition system and training courses of the Vietnam Tennis Federation 2018" to encourage, attract attention and promote the development of Vietnam Tennis, facilitates athletes to improve their performance, assess the athletes' performance and evaluate the training of the local players.
