Hung Thinh Corp donates VND 1 billion to the flood victims in the north region and north central region of Vietnam

Over the past few days, the provinces in the North and North Central of Vietnam have been suffering great losses due to raging flood. Life has become more and more difficult for the local people when isolated by flood. To support relief activities, Hung Thinh Corp has donated VND 1 billion to 6 provinces: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh and Son La.

The 2 representatives of Hung Thinh Corp, Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong - Permanent Deputy General Director of Hung Thinh Corp and Mr. Nguyen Nam Hien - General Director of Hung Thinh Land came to Thanh Nien newspaper to hand over this donation. Accordingly, Thanh Nien Newspaper would coordinate with provincial delegations to give the donation of VND 1 billion from Hung Thinh Corp to the locals. Specifically, flood victims in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Son La provinces would be supported VND 200 million per province; The victims in Ninh Binh and Hoa Binh provinces would receive VND 100 million per province.

According to statistics of the Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control (CSCNDPC), on October 16, there were 222 houses collapsed and damaged; 2,300 households evacuated; 49,402 houses flooded; 72 people reported dead from floods and landslides. There were 30 people still missing and many communes in Son La, Yen Bai, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa were still isolated.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong stated: "Over the past few days, we have always been caring for the flood victims. I hope that our support can somehow help them soon overcome difficulties and recover from the disaster".
